With over three decades of experience in healthcare management, she oversees daily operations including credentialing, licensing, contracting, billing, and HR administration.
Melissa is known for her ability to bring structure, empathy, and clear communication to complex processes—qualities that reflect Clarus Surgery’s mission of delivering care with precision and heart.
Melissa’s career in healthcare management spans over 30 years, with deep expertise in billing and operational leadership. Her dedication to excellence and integrity has earned her recognition among peers, including her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential. She is an active member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and the Healthcare Leaders of Alabama (HLA), continually staying informed on best practices in medical administration.
Melissa believes that operational excellence directly supports exceptional patient care. By fostering teamwork, organization, and empathy within every process, she helps ensure that patients experience compassion and clarity from their first call to their final follow-up. Guided by respect and integrity, Melissa prioritizes creating an environment where both staff and patients feel valued, supported, and confident in the care they receive.
