Hanna Short is the Executive Assistant at Clarus Surgery, providing high-level administrative and executive support to help keep the practice running efficiently. She works closely with the leadership team to coordinate day-to-day operations, manage communication, and support organizational initiatives that enhance both the patient and provider experience.
Drawing on her background in clinical research and healthcare administration, Hanna helps streamline workflows behind the scenes while ensuring patients, providers, and staff have the support they need.
Background & Expertise
Hanna brings more than 10 years of experience in clinical research, clinical trials, and healthcare administration. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology before completing a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation Sciences. Throughout her career, she has supported complex research initiatives, regulatory compliance, grant submissions, and executive leadership, bringing exceptional organization, attention to detail, and administrative expertise to the Clarus Surgery team.
Approach to Care
Hanna believes every patient and family deserves compassionate support while navigating their healthcare journey. She is committed to helping patients with their needs while treating them with the privacy, dignity, and respect they deserve. Having undergone six orthopedic surgeries herself, Hanna understands firsthand the importance of every member of the care team and brings that perspective to her role every day.

Outside of work, Hanna enjoys reading and spending time with her family, whether relaxing at home or at the lake. She values continuous learning and appreciates that every day brings new opportunities to develop new skills. Whether at work or in her personal life, Hanna is driven by a genuine desire to help others and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her.
